Occupational Health Nurse Forum 2
TTRNA congratulates the Trinidad and Tobago Occupational Health Nurses on holding their second forum on Friday 16th August 2019. This informative event catering to Nursing personnel who are stationed in our industrial sectors, was held at Yara Trinidad Limited.
The aptly titled theme of the forum, ‘Individual and Organisational Health and Wellbeing’ saw presentations ranging from Attaining optimal health, Nutrition in the workplace, and Emotional concerns and pressure in the workplace. These truly informative sessions were capped of by a robust question and answer session.
TTRNA was also pleased to present at this event and was able to inform these nurses who may not be able to access pertinent updates on the new developments within their profession.
TTRNA encourages all Health and Safety Nurses to get in contact with this group, as we continue to develop our profession intrinsically. You may be able to meet some of these Industry Nurses at TTRNA’s upcoming Quadrennial Conference to be held from 20th to 26th October at the Hilton Trinidad and Mount Irvine Bay Resort Tobago.
If you are working in the Occupational Health and Safety departments in public or private environments, I recommend you attend these educational sessions.
